Home Remedies for Morning Skincare Routine: Must Need to follow

Skincare routine doesn’t have to be a schedule, but more of a ritual. Firstly, YOUR SKIN IS BEAUTIFUL ANYWAY! And you don’t have to start a skincare regime just because someone told you to do so. I, for one, have gone through a lot of skin problems such as acne, dark patches, and scars, but never was responsible enough to follow a skincare routine until this year.

Another problem arises when we check the MRP for all these fancy skincare products, especially for us teenagers who are on a string budget. However, I have collected a variety of products which won’t cause you much but are worth buying. For all you teenagers out there, you don’t have to have a very complicated morning skincare routine, but the basic is just enough.


Only a very few teenagers wear makeup, thereby there’s no need for micellar water or double cleanse. A simple facewash is quite enough to remove any dirt and excess oil from the face. One should use facewash for exactly 1 minute, and in circular motions, otherwise, the facewash tends to rip off all the moisture from the face.

The best in-budget facewash is the Himalayas Neem Face Wash. While if you want to be on a bit of the pricey side, go for the Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam.


Toner removes any leftover dirt and gunk from the face and pores. It also helps the skin to regain its glow. You can either pour some toner on a cotton ball and dab on your face or directly spritz all over your face using a spray bottle. While you can always use Rose Water as a toner, for better results you would want to switch to some certified toners such as Good Vibes toner range, and Biotique Toners. Make sure your toner is alcohol and cruelty-free.


Hydrating your skin is as important as keeping it clean. Just because some people have oily skin they think they can skip this step. That’s not true! You must moisturize your skin after cleansing. If you are one of the oily-skin types, you may use a gel-based light moisturizing formula. If your moisturizer contains hyaluronic acid, it’s a plus for you.

The best moisturizing creams that I came across are Ponds Superlight Gel Moisturizer and Biotique Morning Nectar. And they won’t be heavy on your pocket as well.


SPF is a must in today’s world. The people who don’t even follow a skin regime must apply sunscreen. It is not about beautifying your skin but protecting your skin from the harmful UV rays. So, DO NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE without sunscreen! By applying sunscreen daily, you can down the risk of skin cancer by 50%.

Sunscreens do cost a fortune, but you should invest in a good one. SPF 30/50 is what I recommend. Some of my personal favorites are Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock and Biotique Bio Sandalwood Sunscreen.

That is all you need for a very basic morning skincare routine but if you want to add serums and masks, it is even better for your skin.

Also: Exfoliating your skin is recommended twice a week. And the scrubs I suggest are Oriflame Milk and Honey Gold Sugar Scrub, and Biotique Bio Papaya Tan Removal Scrub.
